MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, TUNISIA – Muhammadiyah signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Manouba, Tunisia to strengthen their international education network. The signing ceremony marked a new chapter in the bilateral relations between the two parties.
The partnership encompasses several areas, such as education, research, and academic development which aim to enhance human resource quality and expand collaboration.
“This collaboration is our effort to foster education and reinforce Muhammadiyah roles in the international levels,” said the Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Syafiq A. Mughni in the MoU signing taking place at the University of Manouba on Saturday, November 17.
Meanwhile, the Rector of the University of Manouba Amir Cherif highly appreciated the initiative.
“This cooperation will revive the history of the relations between Tunisia and Indonesia which had faded,” said Amir.
The MoU signing was facilitated by the active involvement of the Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM) of Tunisia, which has been committed to expanding the Muhammadiyah international network.
Through this partnership, the University of Manouba and Muhammadiyah are expected to foster strategic innovations in education, create a positive impact on the global community, and strengthen the bilateral relations between Tunisia and Indonesia
