MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, JAKARTA – Muhammadiyah strengthens its relations with Libya through educational collaborations.
The Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Syafiq A. Mughni had a meeting with the Libyan Ambassador to Indonesia Zakarya MM El Moghrabi at the Embassy of Libya in Jakarta on Thursday, September 19 to discuss potential partnerships.
During the meeting, Mughni mentioned that Muhammadiyah plans to send students to study at Alasmarya Islamic University in Libya next year.
“The ambassador will send us detailed information and regulations of the university next week,” Mughni said.
The two parties explored a wide range of potential collaborations, including student and faculty exchange programs, humanitarian initiatives, and human resource development projects.
“Our goal is to reinforce the relations between Libyan universities and Muhammadiyah universities to foster the Islamic world,” added Mughni.
