MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, KUPANG – Muhammadiyah launched a number of initiatives prior to the preliminary sessions of the Tanwir National Meeting at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kupang, on Wednesday, December 4.
They were a new curriculum for Muhammadiyah educational institutions; ACMU, air conditioner by the Muhammadiyah Department of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise; SATUMU, an integrated data management system; Batik of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM); Jaga Wargamu, a partnership between Kitabisa.com and the Muhammadiyah Council for Social Welfare; and the Muhammadiyah Social Fund program.
The Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Irwan Akib hoped that the curriculum could be implemented at Muhammadiyah institutions soon along with the use of Batik of IPM.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Muhammadiyah Anwar Abbas wished that the Muhammadiyah initiatives could benefit wider communities beyond Muhammadiyah members.
In addition to the initiatives, Muhammadiyah received waqf of 12,151 square meters and 1,830 square meters of land in Sikka Regency from Dollaris Setiawan. There was the handing over of an ambulance from the Central Board of Muhammadiyah to the Teaching Hospital of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kupang by President of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir.
