MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, JAKARTA – Muhammadiyah is expanding its healthcare footprint with the launch of Suryavena, a new brand of IV fluids. The initiative, a collaboration with PT Satoria Aneka Industri (SAI), aims to supply hundreds of hospitals and clinics within the Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah network.
The official launch of Suryavena took place on Tuesday (March 27) at the PP Muhammadiyah office in Jakarta. Haedar Nashir, President of Muhammadiyah, led the ceremony, joined by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Agus Taufiqurrahman, President Commissioner of PT Kimia Farma Fachmi Idris, Chairperson of Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini, and Chair of the Muhammadiyah Council for Public Health Agus Samsudin.
“Suryavena represents an innovative IV fluid product. Developed by the Muhammadiyah Council for Economic and Business in partnership with SAI, this environmentally friendly and high-quality product is a significant achievement,” said Haedar.
Haedar emphasized that the new IV fluids will be used throughout the Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah healthcare network, including hospitals and clinics. “We are confident that Suryavena will become the preferred choice for IV fluids within our network,” he added.
Beyond its practical application, Haedar positioned Suryavena as part of a larger economic initiative. “This product can be seen as a form of economic jihad, contributing to the progress of both our community and the nation,” he explained. He urged members to embrace a sense of ownership towards Suryavena, highlighting its potential to strengthen Muhammadiyah’s healthcare programs and ultimately benefit the nation’s health.
Alim Satria, President Director of Satoria Group, echoed the spirit of collaboration. He described the collaboration as a co-branding effort designed to fulfill the needs of the Muhammadiyah hospital network. Alim Satria expressed his company’s commitment to supporting locally-made products and welcomed Muhammadiyah’s desire to establish its own brand.
“This partnership transcends mere business collaboration. It’s a joint effort to achieve extraordinary goals. We believe this will bring blessings to all involved,” Alim Satria said.
The launch marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two organizations. SAI plans to develop additional products under the Suryavena brand, including injectable medications and medical devices.
