MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YEMEN – Muhammadiyah has extended its deepest sympathies following the passing of the Yemeni Ambassador to Indonesia, Abdulghani Nasr Al-Shamiri.
To express its condolences formally, Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Syafiq Mughni visited the ambassador’s residence on Wednesday, August 14. During the visit, Syafiq Mughni offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and learned more about the late ambassador’s life.
In a statement, Syafiq Mughni expressed Muhammadiyah sorrow, saying, “We pray for the ambassador’s eternal peace, the acceptance of his good deeds, and forgiveness of his shortcomings. May Allah grant the bereaved family patience, strength, and acceptance of this loss.”
In response, the Deputy Ambassador of Yemen to Indonesia expressed sincere gratitude for Muhammadiyah’s condolences and support.
