MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) has successfully attracted international students. One of them is Eugenia Carlos de Paula dos Reis from Timor-Leste. She is accepted as a student at the Biology Department at the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology (FAST) at UAD.
In a press release received by muhammadiyah.or.id on September 25th, it was revealed that Eugenia has been accepted into the Biology program at the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology (FAST) at UAD.
In a press release on September 25, Eugenia expressed her interest in UAD due to its offered scholarships and excellent accreditation.
“The Biology Department gains an excellent accreditation. I have loved studying biology since high school since I can explore everything on this planet,” said Eugenia.
Eugenia feels comfortable studying at UAD and has not encountered any significant obstacles. Despite the language barrier, she believes she can overcome it as she has been studying Indonesian in Timor-Leste.
She hopes to make significant contributions to UAD academically and non-academically. After participating in UAD’s orientation program, she became even more connected to the university and Indonesian culture.
“During my study, I would like to contribute to this university academically and non-academically. As a student, I devote my energy and time exploring everything that I can learn. I want to contribute as much as possible by joining the choir, music, photography, and others,” she said.
Eugenia hopes that during her studies at UAD, she will be able to obtain a lot of knowledge, especially in the field of Biology, so that she can develop her knowledge and help improve her country.
