MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, SURABAYA – The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education as well as General Secretary of Muhammadiyah Abdul Mu’ti stated that real change in education does not always come from big reforms. More often, it starts with small meaningful actions.
Mu’ti emphasized the significance of a growth mindset as a key to innovation.
“Innovation in education does not always start with big changes. In fact, it often begins with small changes that are recognized and creatively addressed, leading to meaningful progress,” said Mu’ti in the lecture on Creating Collective Participation for Quality Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya on Tuesday, June 10.
Mu’ti also compared educational innovation to developments in technology, which often begin by responding to real needs in society.
“We need to become educators who are responsive, adaptable, and relevant to our times,” added Mu’ti.
