MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, THAILAND – Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM) partners with Songserm Wittaya Islamic School, Thailand. This collaboration aims to strengthen education in the ASEAN region and provide more opportunities for Thai students to pursue higher education.
The partnership was officially established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Thursday, February 6, at the Songserm Wittaya Islamic School. The agreement focuses on academic cooperation, allowing students from Thailand to study at UMAM while also contributing to human resource development in Southern Thailand.
This collaboration marks an important step in enhancing education and knowledge exchange between the two institutions. It not only benefits students in the ASEAN region but also fosters stronger academic and cultural relations at the international level.
Beyond education, the partnership is expected to strengthen the relations between Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand by nurturing a generation of young leaders.
Songserm Wittaya Islamic School hoped that this would be a long-term collaboration, bringing lasting benefits for future students.
