MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, JAKARTA – Two students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ), Alfadhila Ramadhan and Riana Oktavia, won silver and bronze medals from Kun Bukator at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia.
Alfadhila, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Business of UNJ, achieved silver for Men’s Single Bokator Spirit Form at Hall C, Chroy Changvar Convention Center, Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Thursday (5/4).
Alfadhila got 7.6659 points, while the host country’s athlete, Pichmorakoth Punleu, gained 7.9992 points.
“Alhamdulillah, I obtain the silver medal. I expected to get gold, but I remain grateful what I achieved today. I wish Indonesia wins the next games,” said Alfadhila on Friday (5/5).

Meanwhile, Riana Oktavia, a student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UMJ achieved bronze from Women’s Single Bokator Spirit Form after getting 8.0825 points.
At the 2023 SEA Games, Indonesia achieved six medals, one silver and five bronze medals, from Kun Bokator.
Overall, Indonesia is currently ranked fifth with one silver and five bronzes, below Cambodia with nine medals, the Philippines with seven medals, Thailand with three medals, and Laos with four medals.
