Abdul Mu’ti: Muhammadiyah Stands Ready to Deploy an Emergency Medical Team to Turkey

MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, JAKARTA – Muhammadiyah offers condolences to all people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, rendering the loss of lives and injuries.

“As a great nation, Turkey will remain patient and strong,” said General Secretary of Muhammadiyah Abdul Muti on Tuesday (7/2) in Jakarta.

As spiritual support, Muhammadiyah appealed to Muslims, particularly Muhammadiyah members, to perform prayer for the victims of powerful earthquakes that killed thousands in Turkey and Syria.

Besides, Mu’ti mentioned that the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) is ready to deploy an emergency medical team to Turkey.
