The collaboration may become a significant step for MDMC in continuing to contribute to society and develop emergency and disaster medical personnel on an international level.

Meanwhile, the EMT Twinning Project Lead from the Robert Koch Institute  Souaad Chemali emphasized the importance of this partnership.

“The Robert Koch Institute has been collaborating with various international partners to focus on global health protection. We are a central government scientific institution with a mission to protect and develop the health of the world’s population. One part of our cooperation with MDMC is in the form of EMT training, which we hope will provide an opportunity for us to collaborate in the field of international health protection,” she explained.

Chemali also mentioned that ISAR Germany, an institution that shares knowledge and provides training for EMTs worldwide, is closely involved in the partnership. “Our cooperation with MDMC, which began in 2022, is expected to address international health issues. We have conducted various discussions and hope to develop exciting programs in the future to support the institution and EMTs in their continued development,” he added.

This initiative marks a significant milestone for MDMC, as it positions the organization to play a more active role in international humanitarian efforts. By developing a pool of highly skilled EMTs, Muhammadiyah is demonstrating its commitment to global health and disaster response.
