MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, NSW – Education and Cultural Attaché at the Indonesian Embassy in Canberra, Prof. Dr. Mukhamad Najib, attended and witnessed the inauguration and handover of leadership of the Muhammadiyah Special Branch of New South Wales (NSW) Australia2022/2024 on Friday (30/12).
Najib mentioned the importance to prepare excellent human resources of Indonesian people in Australia and Australians.
Najib, the Professor of Marketing Management, was glad that Muhammadiyah Australia College in Melbourne has operated and Muhammadiyah Australia College (II) in Sydney, New South Wales.
“The Muhammadiyah school functions to expand Islamic da’wa and Islamic understanding. It is expected to be the center of Indonesian civilization in Australia,” Najib said.
For information, Najib came from Canberra, three hour-driving to Sydney, and was accompanied by H. Imam Malik from the Muhammadiyah Special Branch of Australian Capital Territory based in Canberra.
It was Najib’s first visit to Muhammadiyah people in New South Wales since he was assigned in Australia.
