MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA — Muhammadiyah’s Professional Certification Institute (LSP MU) held a witness session by the National Agency for Professional Certification (BNSP) on Saturday (10/11). A total of 18 competency test schemes underwent the witness process as an essential step toward obtaining an official license from BNSP.
The witness was directly observed by the BNSP team, led by Nova Anggraini as lead licensing assessor, accompanied by Kiki Zakiyatul Muniroh. Nova explained that a witness is a vital part of verifying the eligibility of a certification institute, in this case LSP MU, to ensure that competency assessments are carried out according to proper instruments, standards, and regulations.
“This witness is an important step to ensure that certification at LSP MU runs properly and in line with the national standards. We hope this momentum serves as a sign for LSP MU to continue maintaining and improving the quality of competency tests in the future,” Nova said.
The event was also attended by board members, assessors, and advisors of LSP MU. Punang Amaripuja, as an advisor, expressed hope that LSP MU would soon obtain its license after this phase.
“The establishment of LSP MU is not merely due to the concern of certification, but also ensuring that all services within Muhammadiyah are carried out professionally and responsibly. With BNSP certification, Muhammadiyah’s human resources will be more qualified and competitive,” emphasized Punang.
Meanwhile, Filosa Gita Sukmono, Director of LSP MU, conveyed gratitude for the support of Muhammadiyah Central Board and all assessors involved in the process.
“We are grateful for the full support from our leaders and assessors. These eighteen initial schemes are the first brick for many more to be developed in the future. Hopefully, this step marks the beginning of strengthening professional capacity across various Muhammadiyah institutions,” Filosa said.

This witness marks a strategic step in strengthening the capacity of certification within Muhammadiyah.
