MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, ACEH – Muhammadiyah plans to establish a hospital in Aceh following its recent announcement of developing a hospital in Papua. The hospital establishment aims for equitable development in Aceh.
In the visit to Rumah Sakit Sarkies ‘Aisyiyah Kudus on Thursday (August 3), the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Aceh A. Malik Musa would like to learn and gain information about the hospital establishment, as two hospitals in Kudus, RS Sarkies ‘Aisyiyah Kudus and RS ‘Aisyiyah Kudus, are managed by Muhammadiyah women’s wing organization, ‘Aisyiyah. Indeed, RS ‘Aisyiyah Kudus is the greatest ‘Aisyiyah hospital.
A. Malik Musa said that the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Aceh has resources to the hospital construction.
Furthermore, the Secretary of Southwest Aceh Regency Salman Al Farisi supported Muhammadiyah to found the hospital. He said that Muhammadiyah is more than just a religious organization; it is a movement focusing on improving people’s welfare, education, and health.
“Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah has contributed to many areas such religion, educatin, health, and social welfare,” said Salman.
