Indonesian Education Minister Praises TK ABA Semesta’s International-Standard Early Childhood Education Model

EN.MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, SLEMAN—Abdul Mu’ti, Indonesia’s minister of primary and secondary education, visited ABA Semesta Kindergarten on Wednesday (13/5) to review the development of the early childhood education center and assess its readiness as a modern institution with international standards.

During the visit, Abdul Mu’ti praised the school’s educational concept, modern facilities, and child-centered learning environment. He said the institution reflected a serious commitment to preparing future generations through creative and globally oriented education.

“TK ABA Semesta demonstrates ‘Aisyiyah’s commitment to providing the best education from an early age,” he said. “Its learning design, facilities, and educational environment reflect the spirit of delivering international-class educational services.”

Building Strong Foundations Through Early Education

Abdul Mu’ti emphasized that early childhood education plays a crucial role in shaping children’s long-term intellectual, emotional, and social development.

According to him, modern education should not be measured solely by physical infrastructure. Instead, schools must create learning environments that are safe, enjoyable, inclusive, and supportive of children’s growth.

He added that educational institutions today must respond to rapid social and technological change while continuing to strengthen moral and cultural values.

TK ABA Semesta integrates Islamic education, technological literacy, creativity, and future-oriented teaching methods into its curriculum. The school’s modern architecture and child-friendly classrooms were specifically designed to support holistic learning experiences.

Combining Global Standards With Indonesian Values

During the visit, Abdul Mu’ti also met with school administrators and the development team to discuss the institution’s educational vision and long-term goals.

He expressed hope that TK ABA Semesta could become a model for outstanding early childhood education in Indonesia. Mu’ti also hoped TK ABA Semesta to be able to compete globally without abandoning Islamic principles or Indonesian cultural identity.

“Public trust is a responsibility,” he said. “Education must therefore be managed professionally while providing the best possible service for children and parents.”

The establishment of TK ABA Semesta also highlights ‘Aisyiyah’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to adaptive and high-quality education across Indonesia.

School leaders said the institution aims to provide a holistic educational experience by combining character education, literacy, creativity, technology, and the practice of progressive Islamic values in daily learning activities.
