MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA—The Muhammadiyah Institute for Zakat, Infaq, and Alms Management (Lazismu) provides Sang Surya Scholarships 2023, aiming to help hundreds of students pursue their higher education and support research development.
The Sang Surya Scholarships 2023 represents Lazismu commitment to support education and student development. The scholarship program is expected to empower a skilled, knowledgeable, and competitive young generation for Indonesia’s future.
This initiative also demonstrates Muhammadiyah’s fundamental values of sharing and social responsibility. Amid these challenges, the Sang Surya Scholarships are a hope for students to pursue higher education.
Furthermore, the scholarships have three categories: Research Grant, Cadre Scholarship, and Pre-Prosperous Scholarship.
First, the research was given to twelve selected students to support their research on Lazismu.
Second, the cadre scholarship had 200 awardees active members of Muhammadiyah autonomous organizations. The scholarship is addressed to appreciate them for fostering the organizations and may enable them to enhance their leadership.
Third, the pre-prosperous scholarship was offered to 100 students who needed financial support to continue their higher education.
The list of awardees of the Sang Surya Scholarships 2023 was announced through Decree Number 1703.BP/KEP/I.19/F/2023.
