Prof. Dr. H. Muhadjir Effendy, M.AP, is an academic and a prominent Muhammadiyah figure who has served as a Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Central Board overseeing Economy, Business, and the Halal Industry since 2022. Throughout his career, Muhadjir has received several honors, including the Satyalencana Karya Satya XX (2010) and the Bintang Mahaputra Adiprana award (2020). He is currently also known as the Presidential Special Advisor for Hajj Affairs and serves as Commissioner of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI).
