Muhammadiyah Pays Courtesy Visit to the Raja of Perlis, Strengthens Educational and Humanitarian Collaboration

MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, PINANG – The President of Muhammadiyah Central Board (PP Muhammadiyah), Haedar Nashir, on Tuesday (25/11) paid a courtesy visit to the Raja of Perlis. Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, and the Raja Perempuan of Perlis, Tengku Fauziah binti Tengku Abdul Rashid.

In the visit, Haedar was accompanied by the Chairperson of PP ‘Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini, General Treasurer of PP Muhammadiyah Hilman Latif, Secretary of the Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (Diktilitbang) of PP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Muttaqin, Rector of UMSU Agussani, and Rector of UMAM Saidul Amin.

“We hope that the good relation between Muhammadiyah and Malaysia, especially Perlis, will grow even stronger in the future, particularly in the fields of education and humanitarian efforts,” Haedar stated. 

The Raja of Perlis, who was accompanied by the Lufti of Perlis, Mohd. Asri Zainul Abidin, warmly welcomed the courtesy visit of PP Muhammadiyah and expressed his appreciation for Muhammadiyah’s contributions to the field of education.
