MUHAMMADIYAH. OR. ID, JAKARTA – The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) and Muhammadiyah have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen interfaith dialogue and promote humanitarian efforts worldwide. The virtual signing ceremony took place on Thursday, September 5.
The MoU was signed by the HCHF representative H.E. Dr. Khalid Ghanim Alghaith and the Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Syafiq A. Mughni. This agreement marks a significant step forward in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among interfaith communities.
Through this partnership, both organizations have committed to strengthening interfaith dialogue through joint conferences, workshops, and public forums aimed at building mutual respect and understanding among diverse religious communities.
Syafiq explained that this collaboration extends to humanitarian programs addressing global challenges such as poverty, education, and health. By leveraging our respective resources and expertise, we can create a positive impact and promote the values of tolerance, peace, and coexistence.
