MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Irwan Akib has commended four Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah universities for their outstanding achievement in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities for July 2024. These four universities have secured their places among the top 10 private universities in Indonesia.
The universities are Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
The Webometrics ranking, which evaluates over 31,000 universities worldwide, becomes a benchmark for institutional performance.
Irwan attributed this significant achievement to the dedicated efforts of the Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah universities in providing world-class education.
“This accomplishment is a result of well-designed and strategic planning of the universities, dedicated faculty, and the collective efforts of the entire university community,” said Irwan Akib on Wednesday, July 31.
Irwan Akib expressed his hope that this achievement will motivate other Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah universities to strive for excellence and bring further pride to Muhammadiyah.
“We encourage all Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah universities to continue developing their unique strengths, providing exceptional services to all stakeholders, and establishing themselves as centers of excellence,” said Irwan Akib.
