‘Aisyiyah Helps Moroccan Women and Children Affected by Earthquake

MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA –’Aisyiyah, through the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC), provided aid to survivors of the Morocco earthquake, which occurred on Friday (8/9/2023) night with a magnitude of 6.8.

Relief supplies were given to the people most affected by the earthquake in Marrakech, Morocco on Sunday (September 17).

President of ‘Aisyiyah Salmah Orbayinah expressed gratitude for the aid being well-distributed. The humanitarian assistance denotes ‘Aisyiyah’s concern for humanitarian issues in Indonesia and overseas.

“‘Aisyiyah thanks all engaged parties, so the aid could be sent to and received by the survivors,” said Salmah in a press release on (October 2).
