MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, BRAZIL – The Secretary General of Muhammadiyah is attending the 2024 G20 Interfaith Forum and PaRD Annual Forum on Religion and Sustainable Development held in Brazil on August 19-22. Hosted at the Royal Tulip Brasilia Hotel, the forum focuses on the overarching theme of “Leave No One Behind: The Well-Being of the Planet and Its People.”
“I will be speaking at two sessions: Rebuilding from COVID-19 on August 20 and Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy on August 21,” said Mu’ti on Wednesday, August 21.
Other Indonesian representatives at the forum include a Special Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Muhsin Syihab, Reverend Jimmy M.I. Sormin from the Communion of Churches in Indonesia (PGI), K.H. Abdul Khalim Mahfudz from the Nahdlatul Ulama of East Java, Matius Ho from the Leimena Institute, and representatives from the Directorate of Wakaf Empowerment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
