MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, KUDUS – Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu’ti officially inaugurated the revitalized Muslimat NU Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten on Wednesday (17/12) in Kudus, Central Java.
Muslimat NU Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten is among the educational institutions selected by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) for the 2025 school revitalization program, which targets 10 educational institutions in Kudus Regency, Central Java.
Minister Abdul Mu’ti stated that the revitalization of educational institutions is a priority program of President Prabowo Subianto, aimed at improving the quality of national education from early childhood in order to build a strong and competitive generation for Indonesia.
“This year, the government has allocated a national budget of Rp16.9 trillion for school revitalization programs, including renovations and the construction of new schools, covering 16,175 educational units across Indonesia. Alhamdulillah, the progress has reached 99 percent, with most projects already completed. We are now in the phase of official inaugurations, including today’s” the Minister explained.
Beyond physical infrastructure improvements, Abdul Mu’ti also highlighted the government’s digital learning transformation, particularly through the provision of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP). He noted that technology-enhanced learning environments help create more engaging and enjoyable learning experiences for young children.
“Earlier, I witnessed children learning joyfully and enthusiastically. They were actively moving, learning through play,” he added.
On the same occasion, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening early childhood education through the 13-Year Compulsory Education Policy, which begins at the kindergarten level. Support is provided not only through infrastructure development but also through direct financial assistance for students via the Smart Indonesia Program (Program Indonesia Pintar/PIP).
“Starting in 2026, kindergarten students will also receive assistance through the Smart Indonesia Program, amounting to Rp450,000 per child. This program will benefit approximately 880,000 kindergarten students nationwide,” Abdul Mu’ti stated.
The revitalization of Muslimat NU Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten includes the construction of a playground area, improvements to toilets and sanitation facilities, as well as the provision of digital learning equipment and educational play tools.
Chairperson of the Muslimat NU Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten, Supanti, expressed her appreciation for the government’s support for the school.
“We hope this assistance will be used effectively and bring meaningful benefits to the children of Muslimat NU Roudlotut Tholibin Kindergarten,” she said. (Bintang Adrian)
