MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Madrasah Mu’allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta has once again marked a notable academic achievement, with five of its students gaining admission to universities abroad in 2026.
The students are Ratna Nadia Hanifah, Fella FIkri Attaqi, Sofia Medina Putri Azalea, Ozora Shemata Shizen, and Zahratu Syifa Asyita Arisda. They secured placements across a range of disciplines and countries. Their acceptance highlights the growing presence of Indonesian students in global higher education.
Dwi Setiyawan, the international program teacher at the school, said the accomplishment reflects a long and structured preparation process. From earlier academic stages, students received continuous guidance. However, the support became more focused and intensive during their final year. “In the final phase, students are guided to pursue their target universities with more structured and strategic preparation,” he said on Tuesday (14/4).
Out of roughly 30 students, 11 demonstrated a strong commitment to studying abroad. Consequently, the school provided them with intensive mentoring to navigate the rigorous selection processes required by international universities.
Building Global Competence through Structured Guidance
Unik Rasyidah, director of Madrasah Mu’allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, praised the students’ achievements and underscored the institution’s broader mission. According to her, the school’s role extends beyond delivering strong academic instruction.
