MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, MEDAN – Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Central Board (PP Muhammadiyah), dr. Agus Taufiqurrahman, urged medical students to reflect deeply on the purpose of their profession.

The Chairperson of Muhammadiyah delivered the message during a public lecture at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science of the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (FKIK UMSU).

dr. Agus described studying medicine at a Muhammadiyah or ‘Aisyiyah university as a rare opportunity that deserves gratitude. However, he stressed that the most decisive phase of a doctor’s journey begins after leaving campus.

“What matters most is not the years spent studying, but the intention that follows graduation,” he said. “After becoming a doctor, what are you actually seeking?”
