MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, ISLAMABAD – The Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM) of Pakistan in collaboration with The Nahdhatul Ulama Special Branch (PCINU) of Pakistan and Indonesian Student Association (PPMI) of Pakistan conducted philanthropy “Jumat Berkah” on Friday (9/12).
The movement initiated by the Cadre and Social Council was an implementation of the spirit of Al-Ma’un as taught by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan in the early establishment of Muhammadiyah.
Indeed, the three organizations have different points of view, but they could collaborate and uphold solidarity to help others.
They shared 150 boxes of biryani rice, 150 packaged drinks, and 14 boxes of snacks to Afghan refugees, orphans, local residents, and students in Punjab, Islamabad.
“We hope that this philanthropy can gradually bring positive impacts on all people in Pakistan,” said Zulfikar, the Vice Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Special Branch (PCIM) of Pakistan.
