MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – Turkish Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Indonesia, Talip Küçükcan, extended his congratulations and appreciation for Muhammadiyah’s long standing contributions, which he said have played a vital role in strengthening Indonesian society and the nation for more than a century.
His remarks were delivered in a video message commemorating Muhammadiyah’s 113th Milad, received on Saturday (15/11).
“I extend my congratulations for the commendable work of the Muhammadiyah movement, which was founded more than a century ago in Indonesia,” Talip Küçükcan said.
Ambassador Küçükcan emphasized his belief that Muhammadiyah is not only a religious movement, but also a powerful social force that has made significant contributions to the lives of many.
“Since its founding, Muhammadiyah has devoted itself to serving Indonesian society and strengthening the nation. As a social, religious, and civil society organization, Muhammadiyah has been highly successful in its service in the fields of education, healthcare and social welfare,” he stated.
He also expressed his hope that Muhammadiyah will continue its role and contributions to Indonesia in the years ahead.
“I hope this movement will continue its good work for the people of Indonesia,” he concluded. (Ghulam)
