Muhammadiyah and Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) have joined hands to create a new partnership.
This promising collaboration was announced on February 5th in Abu Dhabi when a delegation from Muhammadiyah met with MBZUH Rector Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri in Abu Dhabi.
Chairman of Muhammadiyah Syafiq Mughni underscored the significance of this partnership, emphasizing its role as a bridge for collaboration between Muhammadiyah higher education institutions and MBZUH across diverse fields.
He further noted that MBZUH recognized Muhammadiyah extensive experience and dedication to education and humanitarian work, making them an ideal partner for this venture.
“The discussion explored potential areas of cooperation, including the student and staff mobility, joint research initiatives, and collaborative projects between MBZUH and Muhammadiyah universities,” said Syafiq.
Furthermore, the Rector of MBZUH expressed his eagerness to visit Muhammadiyah in the near future. This visit aims to delve deeper into potential collaborations and discuss specific details with representatives from Muhammadiyah universities, paving the way for concrete action.
The meeting wasn’t simply about forging partnerships; it was also an opportunity to celebrate shared values. The Rector of MBZUH extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muhammadiyah on receiving the prestigious Zayed Award, acknowledging their significant contributions to global fraternity and peaceful coexistence.
This gathering, attended by prominent figures like President of Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir and Chairwoman of ‘Aisyiyah Siti Noordjannah Djohantini marked a significant step towards a brighter future.
