MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, JAKARTA — Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah/Kemendikdasmen) has earned the prestigious Outstanding Human Capital Development & Inclusive Education award at the CNN Indonesia Awards 2025.
The award was presented by Chairul Tanjung, Chairperson of CT Corp, to Minister Abdul Mu’ti during the awards night held at the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, on Friday (31/10).
This recognition highlights Kemendikdasmen’s commitment to advancing human resource development and expanding access to inclusive education. Under Abdul Mu’ti leadership, the ministry has placed strong emphasis on character building through the “7 Habits of Great Children” program, as well as deep learning initiatives aimed at improving classroom quality.
Beyond students, teacher capacity development has been a key focus. Through a series of professional training programs, the ministry continues to equip educators with the skills needed to adapt and compete in an evolving educational landscape.
To address youth unemployment and support school dropouts, Kemendikdasmen has also introduced the Work Skills Education (PKK) and Entrepreneurial Skills Education (PKW) programs. These initiatives engage the four pillars of education–the community, parents, schools, and media–in building a sustainable and collaborative learning ecosystem.
The CNN Indonesia Awards is an annual platform recognizing individuals, institutions, and leaders who have made meaningful contributions to the nation’s progress. Now in its eighth year, the awards have previously been held in regions such as South Sulawesi, North Sumatra, West Java, Bali, South Sumatra, East Java, and Central Java.
