Muktamar Nasyiatul Aisyiyah XIV Enacts the 2022-2026 President and General Secretary

MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, BANDUNG– Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Congress (Muktamar) XIV on Sunday (4/12) at the Asrilia Hotel, Bandung, West Java officially enacted Ariati Dina Puspitasari as the President of the Central Board of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PPNA) 2022-2026.  

A nine-assigned-people formation meeting on Saturday (3/12) assigned Ariatati Dina Puspitasari as the leader of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. She, who is a teaching staff at the Faculty of Teaching and Education of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta, gained 596 votes, the highest number among the other eight elected candidates. 

Ariati, born in Semarang on 2 May 1986, is not someone new at the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. She was the General Secretary of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah 2016-2022 and Deputy Treasurer of the Majlis of Library and Information 2015-2022. 

Besides, she becomes Secretary of the Division of Women, Children, the Elderly, and People with Disabilities of Indonesian Muslim Intellectual Association (ICMI) 2022-2027. She also graduated from Madrasah Mu’allimat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in 2004.

Prior to being a leader of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, Ariati joined Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM). She was Head of Scouting Talent Division of the IPM 2008-2010. Afterward, she associated with the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah and became Secretary of Communication Department of the Regional Board of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah of Yogyakarta 2008-2012. 

In addition, handing over the president position was undertaken at the Muktakamar of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. President of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah 2016-2022 Diyah Puspitarini officially handed over her position to Ariati Dina.  

Ariati Dina leads the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah together with General Secretary of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah 2022-2026, Rifa’atul Mahmudah, who was the Treasurer of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah 2016-2022. Rifa’atul obtained 456 votes.
