MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, SURAKARTA – The National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) of the Council for Cadre and Human Resources (MPKSDI) of the Central Board of Muhammadiyah (PP Muhammadiyah) officially opened at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) on October 24, 2025.
Bachtiar Dwi Kurniawan, Chairperson of MPKSDI PP Muhammadiyah, stated that this RAKORNAS marks an important momentum to strengthen the direction of Muhammadiyah’s cadre development amid the dynamics of the modern era.
“This is our first RAKORNAS in the middle of the current period. Alhamdulillah, it is attended by 33 provincial leaders. With the trust given by the leadership and Muhammadiyah members, insya Allah we will continue to carry out our duties to the best of our abilities,” Bachtiar said.
Carrying the mandate to continuously produce outstanding Muhammadiyah cadres, Bachtiar emphasized that the council is committed to developing sustainable programs supported by collaboration and strong organizational energy.
“This is indeed a great responsibility. However, through ongoing programs, support, and collaboration, we will continue to do our best to ensure that Muhammadiyah cadres maintain excellence in a sustainable manner,” he added.
Meanwhile, Harun Joko Prayitno, Rector of UMS, expressed full support for Muhammadiyah’s cadre development efforts, especially within higher education institutions under the organization.
“UMS is committed to maintaining quality as a higher education institution. We aim to continuously grow and develop. Therefore, UMS and MPKSDI can become strategic partners in advancing higher education in Indonesia,” Harun said. (Bintang Adrian)
