MUHAMMADIYAH.OR.ID, YOGYAKARTA – The Central Board of Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah is reinforcing its long-term investment in cadre development by strengthening the quality of its instructor through a nationally standardized training program.
The organization recently held an accelerated Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah Instructor Training Program (LINA), under the theme “Building Instructor Competence to Strengthen Sustainable Cadre Development.” The program was attended by members of the organization’s leadership and positioned instructors as the frontline actors in guiding training and regeneration processes.
“If instructors meet standardized qualifications, the quality of our training will naturally become more consistent,” said Nunung Damayanti, a LINA mentor, on Friday (02/01).
Beyond serving as a mandatory administrative requirement for Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah leaders, LINA, thus, functions as a strategic, long-term investment. The organization currently faces a limited number of certified instructors, making regeneration an urgent priority.
“This is about preparing successors,” said Damayanti, who are also the head of the Cadre Development Department. “When leadership transitions happen, there should be no excuse that instructors are unavailable.”
Creating Safe Spaces for Growth
Moreover, The President of Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah, Ariati Dina, described LINA as an effort to create a safe and egalitarian learning space for young instructors. She encouraged participants to exchange ideas openly, without rigid hierarchy.
“In this process, we stand on equal ground,” Ariati explained further.
She, then, added that a willingness to learn and grow defines progressive young Muslim women. The process, she noted, often demands patience, discipline, and mental clarity.
Ariati expressed hope that LINA would produce a new generation of instructors who are not only technically competent, but also ideologically grounded, mentally resilient, and guided by strong integrity.
“These instructors will become the driving force of Nasyiatul ‘Aisyiyah’s future cadre development,” she concluded. (Fiya) (Translated by Bintang Adrian)
